Jan. 01, 1965 - Press Conference on remains of Anne Mowbray: A press conference was held this afternoon at the London Museum of the findings of the investigating team into the remains of Anne Mowbray whose lead coffin enclosed body was discovered during building operations in Stepney five weeks ago. Anne was the daughter of the Duke of Norfolk - and inherited his vast estates and fortune when he died in 1476. She was married at the age of 5 to Richard - Duke of York (4 1/2). She died at the age of 9 in 1481 - while Richard was one of the Princes murdered in the Tower.
