Sep. 24, 1965 - 24.9.65 Grocers Hall destroyed by blaze The Grocers Hall one of the few livery company buildings in the City of London to survive the wartime blitz was destroyed in a blaze on Wednesday. 150 firemen fought the blaze and traffic was held pu for two hours.
