Jul. 07, 1968 - Honeymoon Couple Who Were In The Israeli Hijacked Plane Arrive Back At Lydda Airport An Israeli Boeing 707 with 48 people aboard was hi-jacked by Arab terrorists over the Mediterranean. The plane, which was forced to land in Algiers, was on its way from Rome to Tel Aviv. Twenty of the passengers were flown into Paris after being released by the Algerian authorities.
