Mar. 01, 1965 - Children hurt as school bus crashes through bridge Parapet and crashes 30-feet in Stream: A school bus carrying 29 children and a teacher crashed through a bridge parapet and plunged 30-feet into a stream on the Shilbottle - Alnwick road in Northumberland today. All the children and the driver were hurt and the condition of four of them was said to be serious. The children - boys and girls aged 11 - were going from Shilbottle Country Primary School to the swimming baths at Alnwick.
