Feb. 02, 1970 - 47 killed in Air crash in Switzerland: 47 people were killed when a jet flying to Israel crashed after an explosion in mid-air on Saturday. The plane a Coronado belonging to Swissair, crashed near the village og Werrenlingen, soon after taking off from Zurich on a regular flight to Tel Aviv.
