Sep. 07, 1968 - 25 Killed And Many Injured In Turkey Quake: Following the big earthquake which hit Iran last weekend killing many thousands of people, has now hit Turkey, the centre of this quake was a small town called Bartin, with aroung 14, 000 inhabitants, Amasra, a holiday resort was also badly hit by the quake during the quake 25 people were killed and another 200 were injured Earth tremors were felt in Istanbul, Ankara, causing alarm and panic. Photo shows A small child who has lost it mother and father during the quake, plays with a toy given to her by a relief workers in atent not quite realizing what has happened to her family
