Oct. 10, 1971 - 13 Killed In Shops Explosion: Thirteen people were killed and many injured when an explosion devastated six terraced shops in Clarkston Toll, near Glasgow yesterday afternoon. A rooftop car park above the shops collapsed onto the debris, brining down 20 cars and trapping dean and injured underneath.
