Mar. 21, 1972 - 6 killed and 146 injured in bomb explosion in Belfast.: Six people were killed and 146 injured by a bomb which exploded yesterday in a crowded Belfast shopping street into which hundreds of people had been lured by hoax telephone calls. The bomb was in a car parked in Donegall Street. A short time before it exploded two telephone calls claimed there was a bomb in the adjoining Church Street Pedestrians and traffic were directed away - towards the real bomb.
