Sep. 09, 1973 - Mini-Sub Men Safe: The two men trapped in their Mini-Sub Pisces 111 for the last 76 hours were flown from Cork to Barrowin-Furness last night for a reunion with thier wive, The two men Roger Mallinson, 35, and Roger Chapman, 28, were in very good health. The sub sunk on Wednesday morning 150 miles south-west of Cork. out into the Atlantic where it was working when the towline snapped. The Pisces 111 owned by Vickers Oceanic, was on charter to the Post Office to bury a new Transatlantic Telephone cable under the seabed.Photo shows the happy reunion of the two submen with their wives L-R.
