Aug. 08, 1959 - Jean Behra death By the race for motorcars on Berlins Avus on August 1st Jean Behra (French) has a deadly accident. On the wet street, his Porsche was slinged out of the north curve and dashed against a flagstaff. Jean Behra was thrown out of his car and died on the way to the hospital.
