Cairo, Egypt - Twelve people are facing trial in Cairo accused of attempting to overthrow the regime and to assassinate President Nasser. They are also accused of plotting to free former President General Neguib from house arrest and to appoint him President and planning to de-nationalize the Suez Canal. Members of the Supreme Military Court, headed by General Mohamed Fuad El Digwy take the oath at opening of the trial in Cairo
