Feb. 26 Employees Of Printing-Offices On Strike Throughout West-Germany Employers Call Out Nation-Wide Look-Out: Hardly any papers appeared on April 29th in West-Germany, due to a nation-wide strike of the employees of the printing-offices which started on April 28th, 2 pm. The strike had been proclaimed by the trade-union after 88.2% of it's members had voted for it. Meanwhile, the printer's employers called out a general and unlimited lock-out of the 145.000 employees of the printing industry. With the strike, the printers want to enforce their wage claim of 9%.
