Feb. 26 A Woman Speaker Addresses The Protest Meeting.. Japanese Protest Against British H Bomb Test Women And Hiroshima-Scared Citizens Attend Meeting Residents of Itabashi, a middle-class district of Tokyo, have protested against the dropping the British H bomb off Christmas Island later in March. The unanimous resolution called the tests dangerous to the people of Japan due to the nuclear fall out. Further they declare that the explosion was ruin the fishing grounds in the Pacific for thousands of square miles for an indefinite period, and cause hardship to the Japanese people who rely on fish as their staple diet. Lieutenant-commander Takahashi, of the former Japanese Imperial Navy spoke out against the tests at the meeting held in the Sangyo Keikan building, and a Dr. talked on the injuries which the bomb could cause to populations. A woman present showed her scars from burns caused by a recent American nuclear test
