Actors in BBC TV programme about freemasonry

Mar. 18, 1965 - 18-3-1965 B.B.C. TV lifts the Veil on Freemason Secrets'. The controversial programme - Freemasonry - The open Secret was Televised by the BBC. on tuesday evening- with professional actors in the place of the Freemasons'. The programme divulged the secrets of the freemason initiation ceremonies the secrets of the handshake used between freemasons etc.. Because the programme made the ceremonies look so very childish and puerile - a cross between Rob Roy and Robin Hood - as some critics put it - there were a number of angry telephone calls of complaint from freemasons throughout the country.
