Mar. 17, 1968 - 17 March 1968 Anti-Vietnam demonstrators hold mass meeting in Trafalgar Square and march to U.S. Embassy. The massed forces of anti-Vietnam demonstrators meet in Trafalgar Square this afternoon and after the meeting they will march to Grosvenor Square to protest outside the American Embassy. At the same time right wing Monday Club, who support the American in their war in Vietnam, will be holding a rally in Grosvenor Square, after which they will deliver a letter to the American Embassy in support of the American War in Vietnam. One of the main speaker for the anti-Vietnam rally was actress Vanessa Redgrave wearing a paper bandage which is a traditional Vietnamese sign of mourning.
