Actress Virna Lisi 1936-2014
Feb. 26 Provocative New Star Unveiled. Described as the discovery of the year, shapely Virna Lisi makes her debut in her first major film role as the centre piece for a rip roaring bachelor party given by actor Jack Lemmon. She surprises the boys by popping out of a mammoth iced cake. After a night of booze and giggles, Lemmon wakes to find he is in bed with Virna. Titled How to Murder Your Wife, the film also features Terry Thomas. It is produced by a new Hollywood company who call themselves Murder, Incorporated productions.
