Mar. 22 Ada May, star of Florenze Ziegfeld's Rio Rita, darling of Broadway during the 20's and today a moving force in the Ziegfeld Guild, a charitable group, visited the abandoned Jersey Central railway stations where scenes from the motion picture Funny Girl are being filmed. During a ceremony on the set Ada May conferred honorary membership in the exclusive Ziegfeld Guild on actress Ann Francis. In the film, Miss Francis plays Georgia, a glamorous Ziegfeld girl who befriends Fanny Brice, played by the star Barbra Streisand.
