May 05, 1935 - All signals are on Ha-lti': Western Berlins great trunk stations are more and more ruined and destroyed as the Soviets ordered. Formerly they were going from here to Geneva, Rome, Basle, Paris and Zakopane from the three great Berlin station: Anhalter, Lehrter and Goerlitzer Bahnhof (station). Now they are empty and deserted, no trains are starting any more for years. All signals are on'Halt! and weed is growing on the plan-form and between the tracks. Signboards read that this area is off limits and that trespassers will be fined at once with 150.-- German marks. The reporter had to climb over fences and walls until he was able to make the snapshots. But everywhere still worker of the East zonal Reichbahndirektion (rail-way administration are present to find out one of the provocateurs who will show the truth.
