Feb. 25 Car on the Roof Stunt, Originated by British University Students, Adopted by Japanese Advertisers. The news and pictures recently published showing British police and firemen trying to remove a jaloppy from a roof, placed there by ragging varsity students, has tickled the fancy of a Japanese motor car manufacturing firm (Toyoda Motors) in Tokyo. They have built a concrete column 72 feet high of the Ginza, and placed one of their new Corona's on top, it revolves on a disc. OPS: The car on the roof stunt which has been applied as good advertising media in Tokyo. The neon sign alone cost 8 million yen (L.8.000)
