1961 - American Newsboys Arrive In London: A Party of 90 American newspaper delivery boys have arrived in London on the first stage of their tour of the British Isles. The Participants in this tour are winner of a competition organised by an American magazine among 300, 000 newsboys throughout the United States. They have been chosen on the basis of their citizenship, scholarship, salesman and efficient organisation of their delivery round.
