Trade Mission: The Cunard freight liner as Saxonia, leaves Liverpool on Friday carrying an unusual cargo - the Flying Scotsman locomotive, her two tenders, two policeman carriages, and two double Decker buses. The Trade Mission starts in Boston on October 8th and terminates in Houston, Texas, six weeks later. London Stateside Ltd ed founded one year ago to export quality luxury merchandise to the U.S.A. They have now received a contract from the organisers of the Flying Scotsman Trade Mission gives them the exclusive right to manufacture and market Flying Scotsman; souvenirs in America. For this purpose, two double Decker buses have been converted into mobile sales kisoke which will follow the route of the train, selling souvenir at the railway satins at every stop.The buses which are 14'6 high these two vehicles can travel anywhere an tye United States without special routing. They are only 13'5 high which conforms to normal U.S. Federal height regulations. They have been rebuilt completely and instead of seats they have sales counters on each deck. Each bus will carry a full rangs of high quality British merchandise specially made for the American tour of Flying Scotsman Ten specially selected girls will accompany the buses on this tour. They will act forsales assistants on the buses and will be roving ambassadors for Britain in the United States.
