Feb. 07, 1970 - New case of Smallpox in West-Germany: In the inland and abroad the preventive measurings against the smallpox have been aggrevated after the cases of illness and death in the German districts East - and Westphal. The number of people who fell ill of smallpox has increased to 14. Extensive vaccinations have been accomplished by the Public Health Officials. About 25 000 persons have been vaccinated. Some European countries requirs a protection by vaccination form all travellers coming form Germany. Till now this illness caused two death-victims. The smallpox have been brought in from Pakistan by a German special worker.
