May 14, 1971 - Prize-Winning Posters In Africa For Olympic Games In Munich: These two posters being shown by Prof. Iba N'Diaye, painter from Dakar/Senegal and director of the section icon-art at the Musee de l'Homme, Paris (1.)and Willi Daume, President of the Olympic Committee, have been awarded the first and second prize. They were chosen from 365 works being sent to the Olympic Committee by 291 African artists, who could choose the motive and creation of the poster themselves. Artist, being born in Africa and living in an African country were allowed to participate. The name of the artist whose poster was awarded the first prize (about 663 pounds) and which is to be used to make propaganda for the Olympiad 1972 in Africa is not known yet and has first to be found out by the Olympic Committee. The second prize-winner (he was awarded about 335 pounds for his poster -on the left) is Kamardine Krim from Algier
