Admiral Lygo at Ideal Home Exhibition

Mar. 03, 1977 - Admiral Lygo visit the Ideal Home Admiral R. D. Lygo, wh is Vice Chief of Naval Staff visited the Royal Navy stand at the Daily mail ideal home exhibition. He is seen looking at modes of Navy vessels which cost £100, 000 to produce for the exhibition. In the picture is the first of the new anti-submarine cruisers which will be named the Invincible when she is launched by the Queen in May this year at Vickers. Barrow-in-Furness. She will carry Sea Harriers and Sea king Helicopters. Also in the picture are the Leander, Cleopatra and the Hermes Commando Carriers
