Jun. 06, 1964 - Special exhibition at the imperial war museum: A special photographic exhibition has been opened at the Imperial War Museum in London to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War. Photo shows One of the exhibits, Odeon Platz, Munich, Germany'. The photograph was taken by Max Hoffman, later to become Hitler's official photographer. When he told Hitler about the crowd that he had phorographed in Munich at the outbreak of the 1914 war, Hitler told him that he had been there, and sure enough, after a meticulous search, they managed to find him
