Feb. 29 General plan of the shelter, showing on the left the Adult Education Centre, community dance halls, theatre, in the centre the car workshops, and at the right, the gymnasium, shooting range, table tennis courts and lift shaft. The shelter is designed to withstand a direct hit, it has its own well for raising uncontaminated water, its own electric generators which cut in automatically five minutes after the main power sources have failed, air filtration systems and food storage. Up to 5, 500 people could exist here for up to three years
