Adults and children set off on Aldermaston March
1958 - Start of Four Day H Bomb Protest March. Children Take Part. A four day Easter Demonstration march against the H bomb and missile bases, organised by 19 socialist MPs, started this morning from Trafalgar Square, London. They are on their way to the Aldermaston Atomic Research Establishment in Berkshire (49 miles) - with frequent overnight and other stops on the way.
