Aug. 08, 1966 - Countess held on drugs charge is transferred from jail to medical clinic: Italian Countess Afdera Franchetti, was arrested and charged with trying to smuggle a small amount of marijuana, when she arrived in Rome at the beginning of the month, after flying from London police alleged that 50 grams of marijuana were found in her luggage.
