1968 - Not-all Quite in Angola: Dr. Jonas Savimdi, and his Unita movement is doing extremely well in its fight against the ruling M.P.L.A. and its Cuban allies. UNITA claims to control at least half of Angola. In addition to the Cuban forces, Western Intelligence sources reports that at least 5, 000 Nigerian troops are also deployed in Angola, on the side of the M.P.L.A. Photo shows Commanding Officer Lt.
