PLANES OVERHEAD DURING LIBERATION CELEBRATIONS GENERAL NEGUIB the Director-Premiere of Egypt proclaimed a Liberation Front to replace the country's dissolved political parties. During his speech Neguib shouted Sudan is Ours - a statement that was greeted with cheers - booming guns etc. by the 100, 000 who attended the parade in Liberation Square - held to mark the end of the first six months of Liberation'.
