Sep. 09, 1955 - Major Salem gives Luncheon party in honour of the governor general of the Sudan: Major Salh Salem recently gave a luncheon party at the Army officers Club in Zamalek, in honour of the governor General of the Sudan and diplomatic representatives of the seven countries from which the Sudan Parliament has decided to select the member of the International Commission which will supervise self determination in the Sudan. Also present were the British Ambassador to Egypt several member of the diplomatic crop, and many personalities interested in Sudan.
