Mar. 03, 1956 - Africans To Decide Their Future: Togoland, an area of 13, 041 sq. mi. with population of 423, 000, is a trust Territory administered by Britain as part of her Gold Coast Colony. the Gold Coast, with British help, is on its way to complete self-government and Britain has asked the United Nations to Conduct a plebiscite, m to be held in May, in order that Togoland may decide its won future.
