1955 - Two English Schoolboys Murdered By Mau Mau: More than 1, 500 troops and police aided by spotter planes were last night searching the area around Nairobi, Kenya - for the Mau Mau gang which murdered two British Schoolboys - 15 year old Geoffrey Danby and 13 year old Christopher Robin Twohey. The boys were apparently murdered for the air rifle with which they were pigeon shooting - when they stumbled on a Mau Mau hide-out.
