Feb. 02, 1957 - Four Britons Accused Of Spying - Appear Before Cairo Court: The Four Britons who are accused of spying in Egypt - appeared before the Cairo Court -- in a secret preliminary hearing of the charges against them.They are James Swinburn a New Agency Manager; Charles Pittuck (45) of the Marconi Company and James Zarb a businessman. With them twelve other man, also accused belonging to an alleged British spy ring. The public prosecutor demanded the death penalty for all the accused.
