Feb. 02, 1958 - Trouble over the Sudan - Egyptian Border Prime Minister of the Sudan: Reports from Khartoum and Cairo today state that Egyptian forces have invaded the Sudan Border and that Sudanese forces had advanced to the interior of the Egyptian Zone'. Both Egyptian and Sudan Governments deny the allegations. Pres. Nasser is said to be claiming a 600 square mile area north of the 22nd. parallel bordering on the Red Sea.
