Feb. 25 Victims of Fanine.: As starving nomads crowd into relief camps set up in the Ogaden desert in Ethiophia the situation is deteriorating in a famine that has already claimed over 2, 000 lives, and perhaps many more. Dr. Bill Watson, of Oxtam, currently in the Ogaden community, has called for an increase in relief efforts as it becomes clear that of which is already feeding over 80, 000. Some camps in the desert are short of essential food and medical supplies and people are greatly weakened by lack of food. Photo shows Stephanie Simmonds, one of the Oxfam nurses pout to work on an intensive feeding programme set up to fight the famine sweeping the Ogaden desert region of Ethiopia
