Dec. 12, 1959 - Royal visit to Krupp: Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Ethiopia have arrived on Nov. 30th for a 6-day-visit to the West-German Federal Republic. Following an invitation by Alfried Krupp von Bohlen and Halbach, teh couple on Nov. 30th visited the Krupp works in Essen. The crown prince showed much interest for the diesel locomotives whereas the princess had shown to her the social features of the works. Photo shows the Crown Prince of Ethiopia having a test drive on a Diesel locomotive across the factory site
