Mar. 31 Western Nigeria's First Commissioner Arrives In London: The arrival in London today of Chief Michael Okorodudu, as the first commissioner for the Western Region of Nigeria, to take up residence here, marks a further step forward to selg government before or by 1956 for all of any of the three regions of Britain's largest colony, which was approved at the Lagos conference earlier this year between Nigerian political leaders and representatives of the colonial office. Chief Okoroudu, 39, is no stranger to London, having lived here for many years when he studied botany, read law and qualified as a barrister.
