May 08, 1960 - Foreign Minister Ismail Fahmy receives UN secretary General Waldheim: United Nations Secretary General Dr. Kurt Waldheim arrived here to Cairo yesterday starting his 10-day tout to the middle east. Egyptian Foreign minister Ismail Fahmy received Dr, Waldheim in his office at the Ministry of foreign affairs. They revieved the present situation in the middle east and the steps to be tken to reconv the Geneva conference where a peace settlement is hoped to be the reach.
