1960 - A positive action conference for peace and security in Africa was held in Accra/Ghana from April 7th till 9th, 1960. About 250 delegates representing 25 African countries and observers from non-African countries took part in the congress where protests were made against the nuclear imperialism of France and the oppression of the black citizens of South Africa.
