Aug. 08, 1960 - Delegation From Katanga On Visit To Foreign Office.: A delegation - led by Mr. Evariste Kimba the Minister of Public Works in Katanga this morning paid a visit to the Foreign Office for talks with Mr, H.F.T. Smith an assistant Secretary in the African Department. A member of the delegation was Lieut. Mwamba of the Katanga Army. On leaving the Foreign Office reporters attempted to interview the delegation - and twice they were interrupted by police - who said that more interviews were allowed in the Foreign Office Courtyard - and later said that an obstruction was being caused in Downing St. Photo shows Mr, Evariste Kimba (centre) with on right - Lieut.
