Jun. 06, 1961 - Ben Bella's mother in Rabat: The mother of the Algerian minister Ahmed Ben Bella who is under arrest in France, Mrs. Fanta bent El Hadj (Fatna Bent El Hadj), is spending on invitation of the Maroccan government a several weeks holiday in Rabat so that she will think of something else as the inviters say. Since the arrest of her son, she lives with a daughter in the Maroccan border city Oujda (Oujda). Ahmed Ben Bella saw her 12 years ago for the last time, but he writes often, and a few days she spoke to her through the telephone. Our picture shows Mrs. Ben Bella with a journalist in the special plane during the flight from Oujda to Rabat
