Mar. 03, 1961 - The Voice of Jomo Kenyatta - Applauded at Ali Africa People's Conference in Cario: The Voice of Jomo Kenyatta the convicted leader of the Mau Mau terrorists it Kenyn was heard by delegates at the All-African People's Conference in cairo. The Vocie had been tape-recorded and taken to the conference by Mr. Tom Mboya, Secreatary of the Kenyn African National Union. Kenyatta ia living under restortion in a remote Kenya village- and this was the first time his voice had been heard after eight years of imprisonment. Te delegates leaped to their feet shouting Jomo Jomo and applauded frantionally.Tom Mboys told that the conference Kenyatta is strong and Fit- and its suill the heaer of Kenya - and no government will be formed in Kenya - unless it is led by Kenyatta.
