Nov. 11, 1964 - Nine Story hotel Built in Britain for Gibraltar to be Exported in Sections. A nine story hotel is being built by Parcar (Gibraltar) Ltd. in Britain, and will be shipped to Gibraltar in sections and constructed on a site overlooking Algeroiras Bay, like a large Meccano set. The Hotel will have 150 bedrooms, and the ground floor will have 14, 000 square feet of shopping space. The next three floors will provide parking for 120 cars with bedrooms etc on the next five floors. Top Floor will hold the restaurant, bars and sun terraces.
