Dec. 11, 1962 - Trial of Jomo Kenyata. An application by the defence to have the hearing of the charges against Jomo Kenyata, and five other Mau Mau suspects, transferred from Kapenguria and the change in magistrate, was refused by the Supreme Court at Nairobi. The hearing was therefore resumed at Kapenguria. Keystone Photo Shows: Paul Ngei, one of the accused being handcuffed during the trial at Kapenguria
