Jul. 07, 1966 - PRESIDENT NYERERE AT NATIONAL FESTIVAL: The 12th, Saba Saba National Festival got into full swing when the third and biggest National Agricultural Trade Fair was visited in Dar es Salaam on Sunday, by President Nyerere. This is the 12th. anniversary of the foundation of Tanzania's ruling party Tanu. This year's fair has more than eighty stands including those of Communist China; West Germany; UAR, USA and India. This National Festival is celebrated throughout Tanzania for one whole week, starting last Sunday (July 3).
