Jan. 01, 1967 - President Kaunda's Son Arrives at Sandhurst. 19 year old Panji, the eldest son of President Kaunda of Zambia, arrived at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst today, to start a two year officer course. Panji Kaunda was met at Sandhurst by Senior Cadet Corporal Nigel Brown, who took him to be briefed. He will fit in with nine other Zambian cadets already there, and he will train with 202 British and 128 overseas cadets.
