Sep. 09, 1970 - ASSEMBLY HEARS PRESIDENT OF GAMBIA, FOREIGN MINISTERS OF CANADA AND UNITED KINGDOM AND REPRESENTATIVE OF ZAMBIA. The General Assembly this morning heard an address by the President of Gambia, Sir Dewda K. Jawara, as the general debate continued. Other speakers this morning were the Secretary of State for External Affairs of Canada, the Secretary-General to the Government of Zambia, and the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom.
