Jun. 06, 1971 - Maj-Gen. Ndolo Resigns.: The trial took place last week in Nairobi of a member of Kenya Parliament Mr. Gideon Munyao Mutiso, charged for conspiring with others to overthrew the Ken Governments. He pleaded guilty to the sedition charges and was sentenced to nine and a half years imprisonment. Twelve others were sentenced early this month on the same charges. In his statement to the police Mutiso said that he was involved only because of constant assurances from the Chief of Defense Staff Maj-General Ndolo that was behind him in plans. On Thursday, Maj-General Ndolo resigned and his resignation was accepted.
