Nov. 11, 1972 - Bairam Feast Prayers President Anwar El Sadat arrived this morning at 6.40 (4/40 GMT) at Al Hussein Mosque for the Bairam Feast prayers. The President was accompanied by Vice President Hussein El Chaffei, People's Assembly Speaker Hafez Badawi, Premier Aziz Sedky, Deputy Premiers, The Ministers, The Arab and Islamic Diplomatic Corps. Following the prayers, President Sadat shook hands with members of the Diplomatic Corps extending his congratulations on the occasion. The President headed to the tomb of Imam Al Hussein (The Prophet's Grand Son) where he read verses of the Holy Koran. Ending the rituals, the presidential procession headed to the Mosoleum of the late leader Gamal Abdel Nasser.
